During the All-Star Game festivities you put your arm around George Steinbrenner and said something to him. What did you say?

Therian,Well, I don't remember exactly, except to ask how he was feeling. He seemed pretty emotional being there.- Yogi  

I am doing a report for my second-grade class on someone that represents New Jersey. Any suggestions on how to represent you?

Nathan,I guess you could wear a Yankee cap. And just try to do your best all the time.- Yogi

You autographed a patch for me when you were with the Astros. What autograph did you receive that meant most to you?

Leilani,I never collected autographs, though I wish I asked Babe Ruth for his when I met him in 1947.  We do have a baseball in our Museum signed by both Babe and Lou Gehrig and that's pretty special.- Yogi

How old were you when you started and retired?

Daniel,I was 21 years old when I joined the Yankees, and 38 when I retired.- Yogi

Can you tell us what it was like to play a game in Yankee Stadium? Can you feel the tradition? What is your favorite memory?

Patrick,Playing in Yankee Stadium was a tremendous experience, something I never took for granted. Sure you felt the tradition, especially in the old Stadium before it was renovated in the 1970s. It was the same place where Ruth and Gehrig played - that's not too bad. For memories, there's too many to remember. Catching Don Larsen's perfect game in the World Series has to rank right at top, though.- Yogi

I just feel like baseball is not about the love of the game like it used to be and wanted to get your view on it.

Jacob,I don't know if the players don't love the game today. I know they're better paid. Maybe we were tighter knit, because we did everything together. But honestly, there's more players today and maybe less loyalty because of money and free agency. It's still a great game but a bigger business than ever.- Yogi

I am 8 years old. I live in Philadelphia. I'm wondering who your favorite Phillies player is?

Molly,Congratulations on your Phillies. I'm not sure which is my favorite player. Mike Schmidt was before your time and he wasn't too bad.- Yogi

What do you think of the recent Yankee acquisitions? Who seems to be your favorite so far?

Matt,Well, they're good players. We'll see how it all works out. - Yogi

I was at the last home game at the Stadium. How did you feel about the night with some past players not being there?

Joseph,It was a nice farewell. Especially since the Stadium has meant a lot to a lot of people. Sure I wish many of them guys were still around. I think about them often.- Yogi  

Who do you think was the greatest baseball player ever?

Mike,I guess it would be Babe Ruth, although I never saw him play.- Yogi
