Baseball & STEM

Inspired by the extraordinary life, athleticism and values of Hall of Fame catcher Yogi Berra, our online STEM program gets kids up and moving as they explore ways in which baseball demonstrates important concepts in science, technology, engineering and math. Some of the subjects addressed by our immersive activities include:

• The Kinetic Transfer of Energy in Pitching (Physics, Mass, Velocity, Distance)
• Calculating a Pitcher’s STRIDE (Measurement, Division, Percentages)

All programs include a virtual tour of the Yogi Berra Museum’s permanent collection.
