75th Anniversary of D-Day

In honor of Yogi Berra’s D-Day service to country, the Museum will recognize the 75th Anniversary of the iconic World War Two event with a tribute ceremony held at 2 p.m. in the Museum’s stadium-style theater. The afternoon will feature a short program about the significance of the D-Day invasion, including the role of Seaman Second Class Lawrence Peter Berra on that historic day. Strong military and naval presence will contribute to the celebration, which is open to the public.

In honor of the 100th anniversary of the Negro Leagues in 2020, we are proud to present: Discover Greatness: An Illustrated History of Negro Leagues Baseball.* The show features close to 90 photographs showcasing the history of African-American Baseball from the late 1800s-1960s -- a vital and significant part of the game's full story. *The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, a not-for-profit organization devoted to the preservation of Negro Leagues baseball history, has organized this traveling exhibition.
