The Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center preserves and promotes the values of social justice, respect, sportsmanship and educational excellence through inclusive, culturally diverse sports-based educational programs and exhibits. The Museum is committed to educating and inspiring all people to fulfill the values reflected in Yogi Berra’s life and accomplishments. We provide a creative and enjoyable educational environment for learners, especially children, so they understand how baseball and other sports teach social and cultural values that are as important off the field as on. The YBMLC conducts workshops for coaches, parent and athletes on character education, leadership, sportsmanship and lifelong lessons in sports. We host many baseball and softball camps for boys in girls. The YBMLC hosts thousands of school children each year from the diverse population of the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area, teaching them the values of good character, humility, integrity, fair play, respect and decency through the example of how Yogi has lived his life.
Yogi and Carmen welcome a group from the Boys & Girls Club, one of many youth organizations who participate in Museum programs.
