Guidelines for Visitors & Museum Safety Protocols
We can’t wait to welcome you back!
But what matters most to us is that you’re SAFE.
That’s why, when it’s safe to reopen, the Museum will follow a line-up of new guidelines in accordance with recommendations from health experts as well as federal, state and local agencies, including the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the NJ Department of Health (DOH) and the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA).
Please review these guidelines before your visit so you can get the most out of your experience.
For “Away” Teams
Travelers from states designated by New Jersey as having significant COVID-19 community transmission are required to quarantine for fourteen days upon entering New Jersey and may not visit the Museum during this period. Visit NJ.gov’s COVID-19 webpage for a list of states currently on the travel advisory list.
Playing It EXTRA Safe
The Museum has adopted additional procedures and protocols to help secure the health and safety of our visitors and staff. These include:
- Enhanced daily cleaning and disinfection of the facility before, between and following visitation sessions, using EPA-registered, CDC-approved sanitation and disinfectant products.
- Ongoing sanitization of high-touch surfaces throughout the day.
- Increased monitoring and cleaning of ventilation system.
- Protective barriers in visitor service areas.
