Standards

Following are some of the benchmarks our programs aim to achieve taken from NJ State and national standards in Science, Math, ELA and History/Social Studies. These standards promote the skills and concepts required for college and career readiness in multiple disciplines.


 

NJ State Standards

HISTORY/SOCIAL STUDIES, GRADE 6-8

Integrate visual information (e.g., in charts, graphs, photographs, videos, or maps) with other information in print and digital texts.

Relate varying immigrants’ experiences to gender, race, ethnicity or occupation.

NJ 6.1. US History: America in the World:

All students will acquire the knowledge and skills to think analytically about how past and present interactions of people, cultures, and the environment shape the American heritage.
