16 vintage catcher’s mitts tell the story of how Yogi’s position — and the game itself — evolved over decades of play.
Visitors are invited to touch baseball history through our mobile, hands-on display of catcher’s mitts dating from 1895 to the present. From the pillow-style gloves of the “Dead Ball Era” to today’s high-performance models, the mitts offer a tangible timeline of our national pastime.
