Standards

Following are some of the benchmarks our programs aim to achieve taken from NJ State and national standards in Science, Math, ELA and History/Social Studies. These standards promote the skills and concepts required for college and career readiness in multiple disciplines.


 

NJ State Standards

The Emergence of Modern America: Progressive Reforms

Progressive reform movements promoted government efforts to address problems created by rapid industrialization, immigration, and unfair treatment of women, children and minority groups.

Explain why women, […and other minority groups] often expressed a strong sense of nationalism despite the discrimination they experienced in the military and workforce.

Relate the changing role of women in the labor force to changes in family structure.
