Yogi Berra Museum To Hold Annual Free Day

For the third consecutive year, the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center will open its doors on Saturday, Sept. 23 to the public at no cost in honor of “baseball’s winningest player.”

According to a museum news release, from noon to 5 p.m., the museum will offer activities for the whole family, including sports trivia, crafts, team mascots, music and magicians, and food including hot dogs, tacos and ice cream. At 1 p.m., the NJ Jackals will offer a free baseball clinic in Yogi Berra Stadium for children ages 7 and older. At 2 p.m., bestselling author Marty Appel will discuss his new book, Casey Stengel: Baseball’s Greatest Character.
